In 1966 the Japanese Publisher of a popular boys Manga which came out weekly licensed Batman from DC Comics and put out their own version of the character– he was still Bruce Wayne, and his ward was Dick Grayson (although this version was a little more bratty than the American version– check out him calling that woman an old bag), the adaption was by Japanese Master Manga Artist Jiro Kuwata who was confused by Batman’s popularity. Some of the stories were adapted loosely from the American Versions– Lord Death Man, debuting here, was based on US Villain Death Man!
